It's up to Mother Nature, but our sakura at Hakone typically bloom between the third week of March and the first week of April.

If I buy admission for the daytime, can I stay for the Night Viewing?

No, the Night Viewing is a separate event, and a separate ticket must be purchased.

Is the Night Viewing admission the same as the daytime admission?

No, the Night Viewing is a Special Event. The admission price is higher than the day time admission.

Can I bring food and drinks?

Yes, we have a Picnic Area available (first-come, first-served) where you can enjoy your favorite beverages and snacks. Food and drinks are not allowed in the gardens.

Are tickets good anytime?

TICKETS ARE VALID ONLY FOR THE DATE AND TIME YOU PURCHASED. If you're unable to use your Night Viewing tickets, you may use it for daytime admission. You may stay in the garden as long as you like, but you MUST ENTER WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF YOUR TICKET TIME due to our limited parking.

The last admission to the gardens will be 9:00 PM, and the gardens will close at 9:30 PM.
