LEGO Workshop with Bayside Brickz (ages 9-12) + Book Talk for Parents

Join us for a special event for kids and parents. Kids will engage in a LEGO class while parents learn about best books for 9-12 year olds.

This hands-on beginner builder class is designed for kids ages 9–12 who love to create, build, and explore their imagination with LEGO bricks.

During this introductory LEGO building workshop, participants will learn basic building techniques led by Bayside Brickz instructors. Whether your child is new to LEGO building or already loves constructing their own creations, this class will help them grow their skills and confidence.

Each participant will leave with:

• A $10 LEGO set
• A cup of bulk LEGO bricks (retail value $12)
• New building techniques and inspiration for future creations

Parents Welcome

Parents are invited to stay during the workshop and enjoy a book talk with one of our booksellers. We’ll discuss:

• The best books for ages 9–12
• Ways to encourage strong reading habits for pre-teens
• Tips for helping kids fall in love with reading

Bayside Brickz will also have:

• LEGO sets available for purchase
• Bulk LEGO sold by the pound

Workshop Ticket – $30

Ticket includes instruction, a LEGO set, and a cup of bulk LEGO bricks for your child to take home.
