Caricature Carving

Four to five class sessions repeating weekly for 2 hours each evening, each class will progress to a finished carving.

Whether you are new to carving or experienced. This class provides an opportunity to learn the carving of a human face with a nationally known woodcarver. The class will consist of 4 to 5 Wednesday evenings. Experienced carvers may finish in 4 classes

Tools and materials are included in the ticket price. Current Akron Makerspace Members should request the code for $30 off the ticket price prior to signing up.

The 5 part class will be taught by Tim Crawford a lifelong carver and very experienced wood carving instructor.

Participants must be available for all scheduled classes. Missing a class may make it very difficult to catch up with the rest of the class.

Class will be limited to 10 students needing to borrow carving tools and an additional 4 carvers who can bring their own tools may join the class. Please indicate in your ticket reservation if you will need tools or provide your own.
