Madeleine Thompson is the Site Administrator of the Clara Barton Missing Soldiers Office Museum, part of the National Museum of Civil War Medicine, in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the Museum, Madeleine received her Master of Arts in Sexual Dissidence from the University of Sussex where she completed her dissertation on medieval women’s bedrooms. Madeleine also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from West Virginia University with minors in History and Women’s and Gender Studies.
