Sinagua Pre-Harvest Festival

A beer festvial that celebrates Arizona breweries making beer with water saving Arizona grown barley!

What is Sinagua Malt Co?

Sinagua Malt is based in Camp Verde, AZ and works with local farmers to switch their crops from water intensive agriculture in the summer to winter crops such as malting barley. This can reduce water usage up to 75% and has saved 425 million gallons of water since the start of the project.

The Pre-Harvest Festival

Winter barley is havested in May and June so we are having a festival to celebrate the breweries that will be making great beer with this summer's crop. We have breweries from Flagstaff, Sedona, and Phoenix who will be pouring their beers along with music and food trucks. Vendors and music lineups will be announced as we get closer to the festival.

Northern Arizona Universtiy Student Organized

This festvial is being put on in collaboration with NAU students in the Park and Recreation Mangement College. As a part of an upper-division class students have been paired with a local business to organize and put on an event. The students have helped us with reaching out to vendors, permitting, and all the other pieces of planning it takes to get a festival off the ground.
