Empire State of WineNew York, NY
Thursday, Apr 16 from 5 pm to 7 pm
Overview

Taste the legacy of Zind-Humbrecht! From historic Clos Saint Urbain: Pinot Gris, Riesling & Gewürztraminer, pure Alsace terroir.

A $19 Riedel Glass gets you into the tasting and acts as a stylish addition to your collection. The price of the ticket goes towards the purchase of any bottle from the tasting!

Discover the legendary Domaine Zind-Humbrecht, a family-owned Alsace estate founded in 1959 by René Zind-Humbrecht, after the family had been growing wine in the region father to son since 1620, dedicated to biodynamic and traditional viticulture. The estate has become a benchmark for expressive, terroir-driven wines from Alsace’s most celebrated vineyards, including the historic Clos Saint Urbain, planted on prime south-facing slopes with limestone-rich soils.

Clos Saint Urbain Pinot Gris: Rich and textured, with ripe pear, honeyed citrus, and a hint of smoky minerality.

Clos Saint Urbain Riesling: Vibrant and precise, offering citrus, green apple, and flinty notes balanced by lively acidity.

Clos Saint Urbain Gewürztraminer: Aromatic and expressive, with lychee, rose petal, and exotic spice, finishing long and silky.
