FAMILY WORKSHOP | Creating Stories Through Sounds
Family Workshop series invites families to take part in an all-ages workshop led by our staff, our Artists-in-Residence, or a guest artist.
This workshop is an exploration of how music and sound can influence and enhance the way stories are told. What does a sad story sound like? What instrument would represent a villain? After experimenting with a variety of instruments, artist Mila McKey will guide participants through the process of making a collaborative storyboard mural as a visual representation of their “sound story.”
NOTE: Though all children must be accompanied by an adult, this program is recommended for ages 5 & up
