2026 Susquehanna STEM to the Skies Aviation STEM Camp
Come join us at Susquehanna STEM to the Skies Aviation STEM Camp from June 15th-18th, 2026 for hands-on learning about aviation and STEM!
This summer, local area high school students can participate in an Aviation STEM Camp for a refundable $25 fee* from June 15th-18th, 2026 at the Penn Valley Airport in Selinsgrove. Over the course of 4 days, students will learn about the components of aircraft, the forces involved in aviation, and the workings of aviation in the USA. Lunch will be provided each day.
Participants will also:
- Build a turbine jet engine model
- Fly a full-motion aviation simulator
- Take a tour of Geisinger’s Life Flight helicopter
- Go on field trips to: Lycoming Engines, Williamsport Regional Airport, Penn Tech's Aviation Mechanic school, and Three in the Green aviation maintenance shop.
This event is capped at 16 participants, and is only open to students who are entering grades 9-12 this fall and who reside in the following PA counties: Union, Columbia, Montour, Snyder, Northumberland, Lycoming, Clinton, Mifflin, or Centre.
*The $25 ticket fee is refundable, and will be refunded to camp participants through Eventbrite upon camp completion. Please note: If you register for camp and do not attend all four days or complete the camp, a refund will not be issued. Any individuals seeking financial assistance for the $25 fee should email Allison Grose at agrose@advancecentralpa.org.
