Overview

How Tiny Plants Reveal the Health of Our Environment

Mosses are easy to overlook—but they tell powerful stories about environmental health. Join us to explore common native mosses and discover how they reveal changes in air quality, moisture, and habitat conditions. Learn how noticing the small things leads to smarter conservation.

Recommended for adults and youth ages 12+.

Presented by James Stevenson, Education and Outreach Supervisor

Additional Notes: It takes about 10 minutes to drive from the preserve entrance (Keystone Rd.) to the parking lot, and there is a 2-5 minute walk from the parking lot to the Education Center buildings. This program will be held in the auditorium.
