Laughter is the Best Medicine: CPA-NA Member Stand - Up Comedy Show

This is the third and final part of our Comedy fundraiser series with Belina Raffy and her fabulous Sustainable Stand-Up Comedy class!

Laughing, especially when inspired by meaningful, loving comedy, feels healing. Join us to celebrate 6 wonderful, brave, wise and funny CPA NA members and CPA NA friends doing their first ever online stand up comedy show. CPA NA has partnered with Belina Raffy, who has been running her compassionate stand up comedy course Sustainable Stand Up (www.sustainablestandup.com) for 10 years, over 50 times online and in 11 countries.

Belina has worked with NASA climate scientists, sustainable development professionals, Phds in Environmental studies, Humanitarian workers, service designers, biomimicry architects (two so far), and many others to help them illuminate the big ideas that matter to them in human, loving, and funny ways.

This is the first course she has run for climate therapists and people interested in climate therapy.You as an audience member play an important role. Doing stand up, especially for the first time, is scary. Our job, the acts and the audience, is to fill the Zoom room with as much genuine love, light, and laughter as we can, so the acts can shine.This is an interactive show.

You are warmly invited to keep your cameras on the whole time. And at different points, you will be invited to turn and off your mics. Our show is recorded. If you prefer to not have your full/real name there will be time in the opening of the show to change your name.

Practicalities:

Please connect to the show Zoom link 5-10 minutes ahead of the show start time.Once the show starts, we will not let people join the show.We will have a dedicated Tech master for the show that you can direct message in case you need Zoom tech help during the show.And we don’t expect to need this, but we reserve the right to lovingly pop anyone who is being disruptive into the Zoom waiting room.Join us and celebrate these wonderful people sharing their unique insights.
