A Farm-to-Table Dinner at HGP's Santa Cruz Westside Organic Farm supporting their Program!

Sustain Supper June 20th, 2026

Come join us and support the work of the Homeless Garden Project by taking part in a delectable farm-to-table dinner at the Natural Bridges Farm!

Support our unhoused neighbors, rejoice in community, indulge in fresh flavors of local produce, and listen to moving speakers. We'll have live music performed by Sweeter Still, local unique beverages and wine options, a farm tour and more!

We are honored that Farmer Mai will be our key note speaker! Mai-Nadine Nguyen (they/them) is a James Beard Award–winning farmer, policy strategist, and social justice activist whose work centers on building equitable, sustainable, and culturally rooted food systems. In Sonoma County, Nguyen cultivates heirloom grains using agroecological practices designed to strengthen climate adaptation and preserve cultural foodways. Their farming approach is grounded in community care, ecological stewardship, and the belief that food systems must reflect the resilience of the people they serve.

Beyond their farm, Nguyen is a transformative leader working to strengthen democratic structures and economic justice in agriculture. With 20 years of experience in participatory governance, they have helped develop worker cooperative farms, immigrant-run agricultural cooperatives, and community food hubs that contribute to strong, inclusive local economies. Their policy and grassroots organizing efforts focus on securing land access, advancing seed sovereignty, and protecting labor rights for immigrant, BIPOC, and small-scale farmers.

We are excited to feature Chef Estevan Silva who has recently opened the popular Studio Estepan in West Oakland. Estevan was on staff of the Michelin-starred restaurant Quince, before launching his own bakery this spring. He uses grains grown by our keynote speaker, Farmer Mai at his bakery and we'll all get to enjoy at the Supper.

We are also happy to share that Chef Andrea Mollenauer will join us at the Sustain Supper! Andrea has been a valued partner with us for many years and we are thrilled to feature her amazing cooking once again. Andrea leads her catering business, Lifestyle Culinary Arts, and is the chair of Cabrillo's Culinary Arts program.
