Overview

Join us on the James River Park System trails for a celebration of skill, courage, and community!

Join us on the James River Park System trails to celebrate skill, courage, and community. Whether you’re chasing technical lines or still building trail confidence, this day is about riding together and honoring the deep roots and solid rock that connect the Women of JRPS.

We will meet at Riverside Cycling at 9:30 for bike tech and group assignments, then roll at 10:00. Meet back at the shop for a cookout lunch after the ride.

Registration: $6 per person, with the option to add a (co-ed ok) plus one for lunch.

The JRPS trail system is full of rocky, rooty, technical fun, plus hikers to dodge! We welcome women who want to improve their confidence on technical terrain. Required: A modern mountain bike in good working order with functional suspension and disc brakes; helmet; hydration. Highly recommended: bike bell, basic first aid kit.

This day is about women showing up for themselves and each other. Ride fresh challenges, walk what you need to, and stay for the food and friendship. Let’s celebrate International Women’s MTB Day the JRPS way!
