About this event
This Poultry Education series covers all you need to know about raising poultry from beginning to end. This is not a single class it is a series of classes
The $60/person includes course materials for the whole series and a choice of a live or processed bird at the end of the series.
Class Dates:
Chicken Beginnings & Breeds – Friday. April 17th
Location: CSUE Office, Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Making $ and Poultry Nutrition – Friday, May 1st
Location: CSUE Office, Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Biosecurity & First Aid – Thursday, May 14th
Location: CSUE Office, Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Processing Class – Saturday, May 30th
Location: Nola Naturals Farms, Time TBD
WHEN & WHERE TO MEET:
The first 3 classes will be held at the CSU Extension office, 701 Court St, Ste C, Pueblo Colorado 81003, on the dates and times listed above. The last class will be held at Nola Naturals Farms, 46000 Olson Rd., Avondale, CO 81022 on May 30th additional details will be sent out for this final class as they become available.
