District Sounds 2026
DS 2026 hits The Wharf with students + world-class artists, flamenco vs tap, a shamanic Argentine orchestra, and a finale with ODDISE
District Sounds 2026 returns on April 18th at The Wharf, building on last year’s vibrant mix of hip-hop, cumbia, flamenco, and house.
This year’s festival brings together students from local public schools and world‑class performers, featuring a flamenco‑versus‑tap showcase, a shamanic Argentine orchestra, and an unprecedented finale with ODDISEE and the Georgetown University Orchestra.
As a reinvented, all‑ages musical experience, District Sounds continues the District Coalition’s mission to uplift young and emerging artists, providing inclusive, inspiring spaces for musicians and audiences of all backgrounds—especially children exploring music.
