CONDOLENCES is a curated spoken word performance exploring the process of personal transformation.Through poetry and storytelling, True Avery walks the audience through several “deaths” he has experienced over the past few years — the ending of identities, relationships, expectations, and ways of living that no longer served him.The performance also reflects on the complicated grief of separation from people who are still alive, including family, and the emotional process of accepting distance while continuing forward.As the story unfolds, the audience is invited into a deeper reflection on purpose, growth, and the reality that life is often lived between light and darkness at the same time.This show explores the balance between:• holding on• releasing• grieving• and becomingUltimately, the experience points toward one central message:Knowing yourself is the beginning of true rebirth.
