This event is designed to connect community members with legal professionals and supportive service providers who can help you better understand the expungement process, as well as access resources that support long-term stability.
At this clinic, participants will have the opportunity to:
• Learn about the expungement and record sealing process from legal professionals and understand eligibility requirements in Texas.
• Ask questions and receive general legal guidance related to clearing or sealing criminal records.
• Get connected with community resources such as SNAP benefits, housing assistance, re-entry support services, and other supportive programs available in the Houston area.
Our goal is to provide information, guidance, and connections that can help individuals take the next step toward a fresh start.
Important Information
This clinic is intended to provide information, resources, and guidance. While legal professionals will be present to discuss the expungement process and answer questions, expungements will not be completed on-site during the event.
Legal guidance will focus primarily on charges within Houston / Harris County
Participants are encouraged to bring their case number and any related court documentation to help legal professionals better review and discuss their situation.
Registration
Attendance is free, but pre-registration is encouraged to help us prepare and ensure we can serve as many participants as possible. Walk-ins will be accepted based on availability.
