Lipphead is the collaborative project of NYC beat architect Blockhead (Ninja Tune, Aesop Rock) and synth-funk specialist Eliot Lipp. Together they fuse Blockhead's cinematic sample work with Lipp's analog-driven electronic grooves — the result lands somewhere between instrumental hip-hop, downtempo, and left-of-center dance music. Think head-nodding beats with enough low end to move a room.
