What are the age & climbing requirements?

The whole event is open only to youth climbers 18 and under. 
Recreational: 4-12 years old. Some climbing experience encouraged, V0+                                                 
 Competitive: 18 and younger. Climbing experience required, V2+.

Do you have to be a member of ABC to participate?

Accepted Answer

No. Origins is a competition for ALL youth climbers, with opportunities for all experience levels. We encourage athletes from any gym and team to sign up.

Question 3

What parking is available?

Free parking is available throughout Alpine Station, located between the boundaries of 32nd St and 33rd, Prarie Ave and Walnut St.

Can siblings, friends, and family spectate?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! With the block party running alongside the event, Origins is a great time even for those not competing. Spectating is FREE and is highly encouraged especially for the Open Finals round where the best youth climbers in Colorado will be showcased!

What gear do I need to bring?

Shoe and harness rentals available at no extra charge. Availability limited.

Question 7

Do I need a waiver?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All participants and spectators must have a current waiver on file. Adults can create an account on our website and add a "student" to their account for any youth participant. Copy and paste the following URL: https://portal.iclasspro.com/abcrec/create-account-02-name
