Stacy - Archaeologist at Michigan SHPO and DNR

Stacy Tchorzynski is the DNR’s Director of Archaeology and serves as the state’s historian for Sanilac Petroglyphs Historic State Park. She has 28 years of experience in the archaeology and architectural history of the Great Lakes Region and holds a M.A. in Anthropology from Binghamton University, SUNY, and a B.S. in Anthropology with a Minor in Historic Preservation from Eastern Michigan University.
