Official Bay Area Book Launch + Birthday Celebration
I’m coming HOME to celebrate the official Bay Area launch of Salt in Her Lungs — and my birthday!
I’m coming HOME to celebrate the official Bay Area launch of Salt in Her Lungs — and my birthday — with an immersive evening built around story and the table.
It’s interactive art.
Coursed conversations.
A guided storytelling experience with intentional food pairings.
This is for the feelers.
The emotional eaterz.
The ones healing their relationship to body, memory, and voice.
What I’ve realized with writing this book is what we feel doesn’t disappear. It settles in the body. It shapes how we eat, love, and remember. And healing can happen when we bring it to the table. When we speak life and truth into our experiences. Our stories are medicine.
Throughout the evening, each course will be paired with passages and prompts — inviting us to explore memory, culture, grief, desire, and reclamation through both story and taste.
In the coming weeks I'll be sharing details on the art and music experience, the food and our phenomenal chef, and more on what to expect.
I'm so grateful for a community that holds our stories and hearts with such light and care. Hope you all could make it.
