Creative Departures is a new series designed to ground us in conversation, collaboration, and the tactile joy of making. For our maiden voyage, we’re clearing the air: No phones. Just art.

In a world of constant notifications, we are inviting you to power down. This is a phone-free environment. Upon arrival, we ask that you tuck your devices away so the focus stays entirely on the art, the ideas, and the people in the room. This is your time to disconnect from the scroll and reconnect with the creative process.

The Flight Plan

• The Dialogue: An intimate talk by Maxochitl Cortez exploring the intersection of art and environment, and how our creative work responds to the world around us.
• The Soundtrack: Atmospheric grooves curated by DJ Dope Reina.
• The Souvenir: Every guest receives an exclusive, limited-edition postcard designed by Zoogirl, created specifically for this first flight.
• The Documentation: We’ve partnered with TOMO MAGS, who have generously provided analog film cameras so we can capture the afternoon the old-school way.

What to Bring

• Your Kit: Bring a sketchbook, pens, film, or a project in progress.
• Your Curiosity: This is a space to start something new or simply meet other creatives doing interesting work in the community.
• The Vibe: An open mind and a willingness to disconnect from the screen.
