On Monday, May 4, 2026, Fashion Group International DC invites you to an elevated celebration of style, creativity, and cultural dialogue at our annual Met Gala Viewing Party, inspired by this year’s official theme, Fashion Is Art.

The 2026 Met Gala challenges us to view fashion as living art. From sculptural silhouettes to expressive craftsmanship, the theme celebrates clothing as artistic expression. Guests are encouraged to interpret the theme through their own personal style, creating a visually dynamic and gallery worthy atmosphere.

Hosted in the elegant Figleaf Lounge at Hotel Zena, the evening begins with a refined cocktail reception featuring passed hors d’oeuvres and curated bar service, designed for intentional networking among fashion, beauty, retail, marketing, and creative industry professionals across the DC region.

The program will transition into a collective viewing of the Met Gala red carpet and broadcast, paired with a moderated panel discussion with industry experts that elevates the experience beyond a standard watch party.
