Live Concert Performance

Main Description

Join us at the Waikiki Community Center on Saturday, March 28, for a special live performance with acclaimed Hawaiian slack key master Makana.

This 3:00 PM matinee performance offers an intimate opportunity to experience Makana’s music up close in our community gathering space.

Rooted deeply in Hawaiian tradition, Makana blends mele (songs), moʻolelo (stories), and masterful slack key guitar tunings to create a deeply personal and uplifting musical experience.

In this intimate Waikiki setting, audiences will experience the artistry, storytelling, and cultural depth that have made Makana one of Hawaiʻi’s most celebrated musicians.

General Admission – $35
Open seating in the main audience area.

Art Patron Seating – $45
Reserved seating in the first two rows closest to the stage, offering an enhanced, up-close concert experience while helping support the arts at Waikīkī Community Center.

Seating is communal and first-come, first-served, except for designated Art Patron seats.

All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.
