Overview

An afternoon of tea, conversation, and bold ideas in support of future leaders with Lindsey Cormack, author of "How to Raise a Citizen"

Join us for a spirited spring tea in support of the League of Women Voters’ Education Fund, which provides scholarships to Litchfield County high school seniors preparing to become thoughtful, engaged citizens.

Our featured guest is Lindsey Cormack—Lindsey Cormack is an associate professor of Political Science and Director of the Diplomacy Lab at Stevens Institute of Technology. She has authored two books, How to Raise a Citizen (And Why it’s Up to You to Do It) and Congress and U.S. Veterans: From the GI Bill to the VA Crisis

Together we’ll explore the power of books to shape civic imagination, and how we support the next generation of brave thinkers and voters.

Suggested donation $40 in advance, $50 at the door. Generous small bites and tea treats served.
