Everyday EQ is a monthly virtual workshop exploring practical social and emotional intelligence skills to enhance your life and work.

The four tenets of emotional intelligence (per Daniel Goleman) are:

  1. Self-awareness
  2. Self-management
  3. Social awareness
  4. Relationship management

The gist of EQ is the more you know yourself, the better you're able to make smart decisions that positively influence your life. Self-knowledge leads to more high-functioning habits, mindsets, and behaviors. As your self-awareness increases, it's only logical that your understanding of others will also increase. You expand your abilities to empathize, resolve conflicts, and generally connect with others more genuinely and purposefully...which helps you optimize every personal and professional relationship in your life.

Thus, EQ is no small thing! But how do you take these abstract concepts and apply them to your every day? This is the goal of Everyday EQ. Let's make EQ something like going to the gym or brushing your teeth - a daily, nearly automatic investment that has long-term returns.
