Canoe Camp
Come and learn how to canoe while having fun at the CEC! For ages 8 and up.
Want to learn the basics of how to maneuver in a canoe? Want to have a fun time on the water? Well, do both at Canoe Camp!
Whether you're learning for the first time, brushing up on your skills, or you just love canoeing, you'll have a great time! Learn the fundamentals of how to paddle forward, backwards, turn, and even flip a canoe at our very own pond. Receive guided instruction and put it into practice through a series of fun challenges and games! Our instructors will help you grasp the basics, and then help you put your skills to the test as we take a short trip along the beautiful Rubicon River!
Bring a lunch to enjoy between our morning on the pond and our afternoon on the river.
Life jackets will be worn at all times when on the water, and participants must be able to swim to sign up for the class. Please come wearing swim gear / clothes and shoes that can get wet.
Maximum of 12 campers.
Open to all, ages 8 and up. This camp is required for anyone ages 10-12 who wishes to attend one of our River Expeditions without an adult.
