[Adult Workshop] Intro to Oil Pastels

Discover different techniques for the versatile medium of oil pastels!

Aim to go beyond simplified coloring in this class by exploring different techniques for the versatile and under-appreciated medium of oil pastels! Discover how to apply stippling, color blending, oil blending, and sgraffito. By carefully observing a still life and creating a few preliminary sketches, we will approach a mastering of oil pastel skills and complete an aesthetic design.

What to Expect:
• Practice essential oil pastel techniques including blending and layering.
• Learn sgraffito and texture-building methods.
• Develop observational skills through still life sketching and planning.
