Artspace Guåhan is a newly established 501(c)(3) Nonprofit on Guam. Our mission is to provide a vibrant and economically attainable space where underserved artists, and artists of all backgrounds, collaborate, cultural heritage thrives, and the community comes together to celebrate the diverse artistic tapestry of Guam.

Join master carver,Keoni , for a hands-on wood carving workshop where you’ll learn traditional pattern-making and basic carving techniques.

Spend time working with your hands and learning directly from master carver, Keoni Villatora, in this special Artspace Guåhan Master Series workshop.In this immersive, hands-on session, participants will explore foundational wood carving techniques, including pattern development, tool handling, and surface detailing. Keoni will guide you step-by-step through the carving process, sharing insight into design, rhythm, and the discipline behind traditional carving practices.By the end of the workshop, you will complete your own carved piece, created entirely by you, and leave with both a finished work and a deeper appreciation for the artistry and intention behind carved form.This workshop is designed for beginners and those curious about carving. No prior experience is necessary.Details: Saturday, March 14 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Ages 16+ All supplies included Limited to 20 participantsSpace is limited to ensure individual guidance and an intimate learning environment.
