April 25th Creative Writing Supper Club w Jared Sayet
Master the art of story in this unique supper club experience hosted in a historic Craftsman home.
A Special Edition of The Sweet Antelope Storytelling Supper Club
Whether you write for the page, the screen, or simply want to enjoy an interactive creative gathering, join LA-based writer and University of Pennsylvania instructor Jared Sayet for an evening of craft, community, and cuisine.
The night begins with a collaborative workshop on building complex characters from basic details and shaping compelling stories around them.
Then, over a thoughtfully prepared Sweet Antelope dinner, you’ll refine your ideas through guided group discussion between courses.
You’ll leave with:
- A stomach full of delicious food and wine
- New friends and creative connections
- Techniques for building characters and stories
- A story you’re excited to keep writing
---
Jared’s fiction has received two Pushcart Prize nominations and appears in North American Review, Booth, and Chiron Review.
He mentors writers in LA and leads multi-week workshops at the University of Pennsylvania.
---
Hosted in Sweet Antelope's historic West Adams home, the four course dinner menu is inspired by what we harvest that week from our backyard farm.
