Overview

Our Radical Nonfiction group meets monthly to discuss titles related to the issues of history, politics, & the promise of a better world.

Radical Nonfiction Book Group with Carlo
Discussing Half-Earth Socialism: A Plan to Save the Future from Extinction, Climate Change and Pandemics by Drew Pendergrass and Troy Vettese

Led by former Greenlight bookseller Carlo, our Radical Nonfiction Book Group meets monthly to read and discuss nonfiction titles related to the issues of history, politics, and the promise of a better world, just around the corner!

For April, the group discusses a radical call to action to save the planet and bring the good life to all: Half-Earth Socialism by Drew Pendergrass and Troy Vettese. As this thrilling and provocative book makes clear, we must humbly accept that humanity cannot fully understand or control the earth—but we can plan new energy systems, large-scale rewilding, and food production for the common good.

This is a rescheduled / reselected pick from the December 23 meeting.
