WhistlePig began in 2007 when founder Raj Bhakta bought a Vermont farm with the goal of reviving American rye whiskey, working with Master Distiller Dave Pickerell. Over time, the brand grew from early sourced rye into a farm-to-bottle approach, including its “Triple Terroir” focus on grain, water, and oak.
