PREVENT: PCA Annual Conference
The Philadelphia Children's Alliance annual PREVENT conference for child abuse awareness month
The Philadelphia Children’s Alliance is excited to host our annual one‑day conference, PREVENT, on April 2nd at Braid Mill in Philadelphia, PA. PREVENT brings together professionals and community members who are committed to building more equitable, informed responses in the fight against child sexual abuse. The day is designed to spark meaningful dialogue, share practical resources, and inspire collective action.
This year, we’re proud to welcome speakers from the Zero Abuse Project, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and forensic interviewers from the Philadelphia Children’s Alliance, along with an engaging workshop led by Change The Conversation. Our 2026 focus centers on the issues impacting youth and young adults—factors that increase vulnerability both in the community and at school.
PREVENT is a valuable opportunity for organizations, youth‑serving professionals, faith‑based communities, advocates, and anyone who cares for children and wants to better understand how to reduce risk and support a child after abuse has occurred. Whether you are deeply involved in prevention work or just beginning to explore how you can make a difference, this event welcomes you into a supportive space where learning leads to action.
