Miki Shim Ceramics and Lance Rutter invite you for an exciting in-person event celebrating creativity and community at their home studio in Galena!

It’s the perfect chance to get inspired, chat about art, and enjoy a laid-back day out. Whether you're an art lover or just curious, this is a must attend event!

Rocky Hill Arts showcases the teaching studio that brings to life Miki's dream workspace and is finally ready to share with like minded pottery enthusiasts, professionals and open to the public. Fully equipped with 15 wheels, 1 hp pug mill, large capacity electric kiln, raku kiln and wood fire kiln, plus on-demand pit fire.

To help make this event memorable, 10 artists from the Korean Ceramic Arts Association will be on-site for demonstrations, and to help fire the wood kiln. Wood kiln opening will be held on Sunday afternoon.

Come for just one day or come for the full weekend! Events and demonstration times will be on-going and fluid.
