Naoko Kamioka, Origami Instructor, will teach how to fold origami flowers and a heart, then arrange them into a beautiful hand-made bouquet. You will also go home with the pride of creating something meaningful and a feeling of the joy of sharing the creative time with others.

About Naoko

Fold Joy and Creativity! is the motto of Naoko Kamioka, an origami instructor and educator from Japan. She teaches origami in the DMV area for all ages in the schools/after-school programs, colleges, senior homes, and various art centers, bringing joy and imagination to every fold. She often blends origami with collage, card-making, and other crafts to spark creativity. Naoko also offers seasonal origami for Thanksgiving, the holidays, and cherry blossom festivals, etc. as well as the thematic sessions using origami on the current critical issues such as peace and the environment. Her interactive approach encourages everyone to think critically and create art with meaning.
