Six first-time authors—all New York University EdD Leadership and Innovation alumni—came together to write, edit, design, and self-publish their debut book while navigating the publishing journey as a team. In this candid discussion, authors Denise Nelson Nash and Trisha Beck share how they transformed their doctoral circle into a writing partnership, learning the business of books while writing about the very leadership principles they were putting into practice: continuous learning, collaborative problem-solving, and the courage to experiment boldly. Discover how six professionals from healthcare, education, government, and the arts merged their voices into one cohesive vision, overcame the challenges of self-publishing, and created a book that reflects their commitment to authentic, collaborative leadership.
