Travel with our experienced tour guides through the fabulous Buda Hills, on the stylish cogwheel railway, before we hop onto the children's railway. The children's railway is a half-sized steam train that travels 7km through the Buda Hills. Then we head for the lookout tower of our much-loved and much-appreciated Queen Sisi, where we stop for refreshments. Learn about the history whilst admiring the stunning views of Hungary. Finally, we float on the longest chair lift in Eastern Central Europe down to the bus that takes us back to Budapest.

Itinerary:

-Meet your guide Szell Kalman ter, listen to the introduction of the history square, and see a selection of miniature statues of two different famous Hungarian sculptures.

-Travel on the cogwheel railway.

-Learn about the history of the Children's Railway and enjoy a trip on the miniature steam train, along 11.8km of track.

-Visit the children's railway museum

-Enjoy drinks in the children's railway's retro cafe.

-Climb to the top of the Elizabeth lookout tower. Hear a talk on the history of the tower.

-Stop for lunch in a local cafe

-Take photos of the panoramic views.

-Travel on the chair lift

-Explore the Buda hills

-Our guides are tough and can work in the rain and the snow. However, in the event of extreme ice, extremely strong winds, or considerable lightning, the chair life can not operate and the tour will be canceled, and either a voucher will be issued for another date or a refund will be given.
