What is the parking situation?

There is a parking lot right next to Dunn Brothers Coffee shop and parking is free - you will just need to enter your license plate inside the coffee shop in their parking system when you arrive. Street parking is also free if that feels easier!

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a holistic, light-touch or no-touch energy-based modality that seeks to establish normal energy flow in the body. It promotes relaxation and the body's innate healing abilities, in addition to balancing chakras and supporting functioning in the endocrine system.

Do I need to have experience with Reiki or meditation?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. This event is beginner-friendly and designed as a gentle introduction. You’ll be guided the entire time, and there’s nothing you need to “do” or get right - just arrive as you are.

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Please bring anything that helps you feel comfortable - a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, or eye mask. Dress in cozy layers.

Question 5

Will I receive individual Reiki?

Accepted Answer

Reiki will primarily be offered in a group setting, which many people find deeply calming and powerful. Attendees may choose to receive hands-on Reiki if desired, and will indicate their preference with a card by their space.

Is this a religious event?

Accepted Answer

No. Reiki and meditation are spiritual practices and are not tied to any religion. This space is inclusive, grounded, and focused on rest, self-connection, and nervous system support.
