Because of this resurgence, the Caribbean American Poetry Association invites Caribbean poets and poets of Caribbean ancestry to help take Caribbean poetry to the widest possible audiences.  Caribbean poetry is a diverse and evolving art form that reflects the region's culture, history, and identity. It's written in many languages, including English, Spanish, French, Dutch, and Creole.
