About this eventThe conversation about AI has, for too long, only happened in San Francisco and Washington DC. Everyday Americans have been told to accept the consequences without having a say. That changes now.Join Joe Allen for a conversation about the ideology underpinning AI development, what it means for our future, and how we can fight back against the AI companies who are building AI systems to replace us. He will address concerns about the impact of AI on our communities, our jobs, our society and our futures.This event is hosted by Plan Z USA, a new student organization aiming to empower Gen Z to take control of its future politically, economically and socially. Humans First is a new grassroots movement to put control of AI in the hands of everyday Americans, instead of a few billionaires in California.What to expect:<ul><li>Hear from Joe Allen (and Jeremy Ornstein) on where AI is heading and what's at stake</li><li>Share your own concerns and questions</li><li>Participate in "Ink Over Algorithms": write down your worries about AI, and we'll deliver them to politicians in DC on March 25th</li><li>Connect with others who want to take action</li></ul>
