What is a passion play?

A passion play is a dramatic representation of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The words passion and suffering are actually interchangeable. In this case we're focussing our attention on the suffering of Christ.

What is the cost of admission?

Accepted Answer

There is no admission fee associated with this event. "He's Alive" is presented freely this season because of the generosity of others. The free will offering received at each performance is used to continue paying it forward for those attending next.

Question 3

Is this presentation appropriate for all ages?

Accepted Answer

No. This presentation of the Passion Play contains graphic scenes of Christ's suffering that are intended to communicate the brutal nature of the crucifixion. Parents, please consider the individual maturity of each child you bring and their ability to witness these events with others.

What is the runtime of the play?

Accepted Answer

Actual run times for a live presentation can vary slightly but this presentation from beginning to end is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes in length.

Question 5

Is childcare available?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately we are not able to provide childcare for this event. This presentation is approximately an hour and forty five minutes long. If your child is mature enough to attend a PG rated movie that contains some violence it's likely they are mature enough to experience the Passion Play.

Question 6

How do I arrange advance seating more than 10 guests?

Accepted Answer

We encourage large groups of ten or more to book early and to consider attending performances earlier in the week. Please note advanced seating is limited and will be opened up to accommodate general admission seating after 6:30 pm each evening. Please arrive early to secure your seat.
