Centered on three vessels’ catch of the day, this dinner honors the fishermen, their boats, and the journey from ocean to table
I’ve wanted to bring this dinner to life for years — it’s been sitting in my heart, waiting for the right moment.
An intimate evening where the sea quite literally writes the menu. Whatever comes straight off the boat that day becomes the foundation of the experience. No forced menu. No over-curation. Just deep respect for the catch, the season, and the hands that brought it in.
I’m calling it A Fisherman’s Tale.
Centered around Tunaville’s vessels, the fishermen themselves will join us at the table — closing the gap between ocean and plate. The evening will feature a live tuna breakdown with Chef (TBA), while Tommy Gomes shares stories from his life on the water — raw, honest, and rooted in reverence for the craft.
Thoughtfully paired cocktails. Long communal tables. Incredible company. A sunset settling over the Piazza in Little Italy.
A night to slow down, to listen, and to truly honor where our food begins.
