You bet it is!!!  The Irish American Heritage Museum’s performance space has been likened to a living room or parlor.  IAHM’s performances have the intimacy of house concerts.

Is there parking at the Irish American Heritage Museum?

Accepted Answer

There is FREE on-street parking along Broadway and Spencer St. weekdays after 5pm and weekends, all day.  Preferred parking (cheapest) is Quackenbush Parking Lot, located behind Quackenbush Square at 45 Montgomery St.  Rates $1 hour/$8 max. NB: paid parking on Montgomery St. NOT the Q-Lot, so $$$$.

IAHM’s performances have the intimacy of house concerts. The IAHM’s Special Event Performance Series welcomes artists who typically sell out venues 5-10 times the size of IAHM’s theater. The artists in this series appreciate our space and the uniqueness, closeness and interest of IAHM’s community.

OMG!!!!  The weather is upstate AWFUL! I’ve GOT to get out of my house, with my young kids! To IAHM?

Absolutely!!!  Call first; make sure Exec. Director Michael C. Clarke (MCC) is there.  MCC will entertain all with Irish song/music … he plays multiple instruments, including the piano accordion, and sings … Mr. Clarke used the p. accordion as a form of corporal punishment with his own children!  ?
