Do you have questions about ag trade? We have answers.
Iowa Farm Bureau’s 2026 Economic Summit – Trade Crossroads: Forces Shaping the Future of Ag, hosted by Tyne Morgan from U.S. Farm Report, will unpack the full spectrum of perspectives on agricultural trade economics - from free trade to tariffs, and from the global scale down to the farm level. Former U.S. Trade Representative, Ambassador Bob Lighthizer, headlines the 2026 IFBF Economic Summit with a "fireside chat" with IFBF President Brent Johnson. Gregg Doud of National Milk Producers Federation, economist and former Chief Agricultural Negotiator for the Office of the USTR, will discuss where our trade efforts should be focused and what other sources of demand for U.S. ag products are coming down the pike.
Participants will also gain insights from free trade economist Dr. Sam Gregg of the American Institute for Economic Research; beef and pork trade expert Erin Borror with U.S. Meat Export Federation; grains market commentator Susan Stroud of No Bull Agriculture; and economic researchers from ISU's Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD).
