OHC26: Tanya and Suren Wickremasinghe Architects [Tour]
Visit the TSWA architecture office as part of Open House Colombo 2026.
Tanya and Suren Wickremasinghe Architects (TSWA) is a multi-disciplinary practice with projects ranging from high-rise commercial buildings and apartment towers to hotels, private residences, and bespoke interiors. Their recent projects include the Faculty of Engineering Campus for the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and the Aprota boutique hotel in Arugam Bay.
Established in 1974, TSWA moved into its current home in Colombo 8 in 1994. Thirty years on, the drafting tables and drawing storage chests have been replaced by a digital creative hub where computer renders sit side by side with physical models of buildings, as well as hand drawings and photos of past projects, which adorn the walls as inspiration for new projects.
Visitors to TSWA will receive a presentation on the firm's design processes, a demonstration of on-site physical model-making, and an opportunity to experience objects from the TSWA 50 Years Retrospective exhibition in 2024.
