Overview

Our penultimate concert presents string quartets by Brooklyn-based Carlos Pavan, Felix Mendelssohn, and a sextet by Clarice Assad.

Our penultimate concert of the 2026 Spring Season begins with a Divertimento by local Brooklyn composer and guitarist, Carlos Pavan, followed by Clarice Assad’s 4 Scenes for string quartet, guitar, and flute. We then conclude the set of three concerts, by wrapping up Mendelssohn’s Opus 44 quartets with his Quartet number 5 in E flat Major.
