Join us for an inspiring evening of spoken word and poetic expression.

Join us for an inspiring evening of spoken word and poetic expression at our Poetry Night, featuring Susan Hunter and Tom Snarsky. Each poet will share about 10 minutes of their work. Following the event, there will be time for book signing and mingling.


About Susan

Susan Hunter, a Pinehills resident, is the author of the poetry collection, “Do We Ever Stay?” recently published by Kelsay Books, and the chapbook “Unfinished Spaces” (Finishing Line Press, 2024). Her poems have appeared in print and online journals, including On the Seawall, Southern Humanities Review and Saranac Review and have been featured on Cape & Islands NPR radio and the Local Seen, Plymouth’s Area Community Access Television. A graduate of Middlebury College and New York University, Susan has been a journalist for weekly newspapers in Connecticut and Massachusetts.


About Tom

Tom Snarsky is the author of the chapbooks Threshold (Another New Calligraphy) & Complete Sentences (Broken Sleep Books), as well as the full-length collections Light-Up Swan and Reclaimed Water (both from Ornithopter Press). His book A Letter From The Mountain & Other Poems is forthcoming from Animal Heart Press in 2025, and the title poem is available to read on Metatron Press’s GLYPHÖRIA platform. He lives in the mountains of northwestern Virginia with his wife Kristi and their cats.
