What is your refund policy?

At our market events with guest artists and makers, all sales are final, no returns or exchanges. We will of course work with you to connect with the artist should you be dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason.

Can I join the Designing Women Market?

We accept applications from women who are interested in participating in our next Designing Women Market. There is no entry fee to participate. For more information, reach out to museumstore@nyhistory.org with the subject line: Designing Women Market Application

Can I visit the museum after attending the event?

The Designing Women Market is free to the public. Walk-ins are Welcome! If market visitors wish to visit the museum galleries they will need to purchase tickets. 2 for 1 admission will be offered to guests who spend $25 at the market.

The New York Historical NYHistory Store will celebrate its Spring 2026 Shopping Event

On Saturday, May 2, 2026, the NYHistory Store will host our popular Designing Women Market, a day-long shopping marketplace to showcase exceptional products by women makers, designers, and entrepreneurs. We are excited to invite you to join us!

This special marketplace will feature outstanding makers whose products exemplify the creative spirit of New York City. Our participants are among a select number of women designers we respect and admire for both their success and for the quality of the products they bring to the marketplace. Our Designing Women produce a unique range of jewelry, clothing, accessories, and crafts.

The NYHistory Store believes that the interaction between history lovers who support our business and the women producers living out their stories of creativity and commerce is a positive demonstration that we each make history matter every day.
