Monmouth Fish & GameMonmouth, ME
Tuesday, Apr 21 from 6 pm to 8:30 pm
Overview

All-levels handgun program covering safety, fundamentals, and monthly skills. Progressive yet stand-alone sessions build confidence.

Welcome to the MF&G Pistol Club!

This program is designed for shooters of all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned handgun users. Early sessions focus on establishing a strong foundation in handgun safety, proper handling, and core pistol shooting principles.

Each month introduces a new skill set, allowing participants to build confidence and improve proficiency over time. Although the program follows a progressive structure, every session is self-contained, enabling shooters to attend individual nights without falling behind.

Participants can expect a supportive learning environment that emphasizes safe practices, practical techniques, and steady skill development.

Program Kickoff

We kick off on April 21st, 2026 (the third Tuesday of the month) at 1800 hours (6:00 PM).

This first session will serve as a meet-and-greet and provide an overview of the season’s planned events. The session will be held inside the clubhouse and will include dry-fire activities — yes, training starts right away.

Please bring all items listed in the equipment section below and do not bring any live ammunition.

Topics: Overview, Safety, Handgun Basics, Holsters, Loading and Unloading
