Join us at Art Share L.A. on March 7 from 6:00–9:00 PM for the opening reception of our annual Ellsworth Residency Exhibition, featuring artwork by Brenda Gonzalez, Carly Franca, Emmanuel Camacho Larios, Johnny Castillo, Karen Gibson Roc, Nolan Roy, Sandra Khalifa, Trevor Coopersmith, and Xiao Xiao Wu, located in our Main Gallery!The Ellsworth Residency Exhibition celebrates Cohorts 9, 10, and 11, showcasing the diverse bodies of work developed throughout their residencies. The Ellsworth Artist Residency Program is dedicated to providing accessible studio space while fostering the growth of emerging voices in the visual arts. This dynamic program offers professional development opportunities - including studio visits with curators, critics, scholars, and fellow artists - and culminates in a group exhibition at Art Share L.A. Residents are selected through a competitive application process reviewed by a committee of arts professionals.Also opening in our Perimeter Gallery is exhale, curated by Robert Heavrin. Presented as part of our Emerging Curator Program, this special exhibition empowers emerging curators to develop themed exhibitions that spotlight local talent. The program offers a platform for emerging curators to produce exhibitions in public settings and fosters new curatorial voices within the Los Angeles arts community.exhale. invites viewers to meditate on the simple beauty of line, shape, and color.Featuring artwork by: Anne Evans, Arisa Hsiao, Ashley Cole, Ashley Ravidas, Carlos Flores, Chad Goei, EddieLin, Gleici Rufatto, Hanna B. Ketai, Isabelle Ruth Alessandra, Justin N. Kim, Laurey Bennett-Levy, Mark Rebennack, Michael DeSutter, Monica Griffin, Robert Heavrin, Sam Crawford, Sara Marlowe Hall, Sarah Jaclyn Schwartz, and Shannon Evans.We look forward to celebrating these remarkable artists and sharing an inspiring evening of contemporary art with you.
