Who can attend the showcase?

Anybody! Friends, family, and any supporters of the students and anyone who likes to watch improv or wants to perform in the seccond half in the jam are welcome! It’s a fun, supportive environment.

Is there an entry fee for the audience?

Nope! The showcase is free for your invited guests.

Question 3

How long will the showcase last?

Accepted Answer

Typically, it’s about an hour and a half depending on the class size and scenes.

Will students get to invite friends and family

Yes! We encourage students to invite people who will cheer them on.

Question 5

What kind of scenes or games will we perform

Accepted Answer

The showcase focuses on the scene work and group exercises you’ve practiced in class—think two-person scenes and ensemble games. It’ll feel familiar! the games in the jam are usually two person scenes and group games.

Question 6

Will there be any recording or photos?

Accepted Answer

If you’re comfortable, we may record or take photos—let us know if you’d prefer not to be. It’s all about celebrating your growth!

What should we wear—costumes or casual?

Accepted Answer

Casual is fine! Wear something comfortable that you can move in. The focus is on you and your scene work! Things to avoid : flip flops, high heels and athletic shorts/workout clothes

What time should performers and audience arrive?

Accepted Answer

Students should arrive about 30 minutes early for any final prep. The audience can arrive right before showtime!
